Freelance Business Analyst

We're looking for a freelance Business Analyst with strong ITIL experience. To be fluent in English language at least level C1/C2 is an essential criteria. 

Purpose of role

Business industry professional, Manage project deliveries including budgets and resources, assist in overall Projects resource planning, provide pre-contract assistance to the sales team, report to the Head of Projects, work on Multiple projects

Key accountabilities

Member of the Project Delivery Team

  • Manage multiple client projects as directed by the Delivery Director against agreed budgets and timescales
  • Monitor all aspects of the project to ensure it meets company standards, methodologies and quality assurance guidelines
  • Control, monitor and report progress against plan and take corrective action as necessary in order to meet delivery obligations

Preparing Documentation

  • Prepare project initiation documents, project plans including resource estimates, timescales, dependencies and project budgets to company standards

Customer Relationship management

  • Maintain and develop business relationships with assigned clients through project kick off meetings, and ongoing project meetings presenting a professional image
  • Ensure that appropriate after sales support is provided and that service levels and client perception remains high
  • Perform a liaison role between the client and company such that current and future opportunities are maximised

Project Resource Management

  • Ensure that projects are resourced correctly, reporting any resource conflicts to the Delivery Director

Candidates will demonstrate or possess the following

Business knowledge

  • Experience in a similar project management role in a financial services software company
  • Experience in a customer facing role using consultative skills
  • Understanding of the financial services market in Czech Republic
  • Knowledge of payments services in Euro countries (e.g. SEPA)
  • Core Banking knowledge
  • Experience with migration projects

Technical knowledge

  • Client relationships/negotiation skills
  • Project Management qualification e.g. Prince II
  • Understand the software development life cycle
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office products
  • Good working knowledge of MS Project
  • Excellent English oral and written skills
  • Knows how to facilitate and manage meetings
  • Knows how to structure a negotiation
  • Knows how to structure a communication in order to communicate difficult and/or emotive content sensitively
  • Advanced communication skills (report writing, presentations, conferences, group situations)
